Made In cookware

Warranty

We build tools that last. Here's how we back them up.

Made In products are professionally crafted tools and designed to stand the rigors of a commercial kitchen. As such, changes in appearance, wear and tear from use, and normal consequences of use are not covered under our warranty policy.

All Made In products are covered for any manufacturer’s defects. Damage occurring from improper use or storage, prolonged use of high or excessive heat, thermal shock, accidental damage, or otherwise a result of a failure to follow care instructions described in product care inserts and care guides are not covered under warranty.

Carbon Steel

Made In’s Carbon Steel products have a lifetime warranty that covers defects that impact use or longevity. Changes in appearance, superficial damage, and rust are not covered. Rust is a byproduct of the high iron content of carbon steel. Properly seasoning and care prevents rust from forming, and rust can be removed and treated with no lasting impact to the cookware.

Stainless Clad

Made In covers any defects that are a result of manufacturing. Changes in appearance, damage, or staining that is a result of normal wear and tear, use of metal utensils, or the use of the dishwasher are not covered under our manufacturer’s warranty. Warping or damage from prolonged use of high or excessive heat or exposure to thermal shock is not covered.

Knives

Made In does not cover for accidental damage, bent knife tips, wooden handle damage from failure to follow care instructions, or dulled blades. Rust or damage that results from improper storage, such as leaving a blade in the sink or dishwasher, are not covered. Made In Knives are handcrafted and variance between products is normal and to be expected.

Non Stick

Non Stick cookware comes with a 2-year limited warranty. Improper storage, like unprotected stacking, and improper use and care are not covered. Use of medium heat or higher, exposure to temperatures above 500F, metal utensils, dishwasher use, or exposure to heat while empty will void warranty. Made In’s non stick coating is professional grade, but no coating will last a lifetime and normal depreciation from use is expected and not covered under warranty.

Enameled Cast Iron

Made In’s Enamel Cast Iron products have a lifetime warranty that covers products that arrived damaged or defects that impact use and longevity. Changes in appearance, damage, or staining that is a result of normal wear and tear, use of metal utensils, excessive heat above 580F or the use of the dishwasher are not covered under our manufacturer’s warranty.

Plateware

Made In’s plateware is protected by a 10-year no chip guarantee. Exposure to heat above 600F, marks formed by accident or impacts in a dishwasher, and normal wear and tear are not covered. Beauty marks are not covered under warranty.

Glassware

Made In will cover any manufacturer’s defects on glass products. Made In’s warranty does not cover accidental breakage.

Bakeware

Porcelain Bakeware is produced by hand and slight variance between products is normal and expected. Exposure to temperatures above 650F, variance in appearance, change or superficial markings as a result of use, and normal wear and tear are not covered under warranty.

Bakeware in Color is no longer covered under warranty if exposed to temperatures above 482, and any damage resulting from improper use, utensils, or heat are not covered by warranty.

Accessories

Universal lids are not covered for damages accrued by use with products not manufactured by Made In, or for damages that result from exposure to temperatures above 500F.

Sheet pans, wooden spoons, and other accessories are covered for manufacturing defects. Damage that results from a failure to stay under advised max temperature thresholds, dry pieces appropriately, or superficial damage from wear and tear are not covered.
